Demonetization ground-breaking move against black money: Ajay Nanda

Minister of State for Finance and Planning, IT, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, FCS &CA , Tribal Affairs, Relief & Rehabilitation and Labour & Employment , Ajay Nanda today said that the recent demonetization is a ground breaking move against black money.Speaking at a function in a Government School in district Udhampur, Mr. Ajay Nanda urged the students to spread the message of cleanliness among the common masses.Citing that 'Children are future of tomorrow', the Minister said that children can play an important role in spreading awareness regarding cleanliness among the common masses, and can help in a number of ways in making their surroundings clean.Highlighting various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, BBBP, SBM launched by the present the Government, Nanda stressed that the Government is committed to work for common masses and has, therefore, launched a number of schemes for the welfare of the common people.

Besides this, he also appreciated the efforts of NGO, 'Jiyo aur Jeene Do' for organising programmes aimed to generate awareness about various schemes among the general people.A total of 12 participants from different educational institutions participated in the Seminar-cum- Symposium competition and expressed their views on the topic 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and 'Mera Yogdan'. Various cultural programmes like skits on 'Drug Addiction'and 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' were also presented by the students.At the end, the Minister distributed prizes among the winners.The programme was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Shailendra Kumar Mishra, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Subhash Dogra, DTO Ramesh Singh, Chief Education Officer Bishan Singh and Principal, Government Model Higher Secondary School Ved Prakash Sharma besides Patron NGO Bharat Bhushan 'Jiyo aur Jeene Do', President,Tariq Shah , members of the NGO 'Jiyo aur Jeene Do, prominent citizens , teachers and students.
