Former minister and MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani Thursday address public gathering cum protest rally of unemployed youths, villagers and land owners of Wagan, Ramsu,Makerkoot and other adjoining localities at Makerkoot market here today.MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani while addressing protestors said that construction companies should fix priority in adjustment of skilled, semi skilled and in skilled staff and man power and special preference should be given to local unemployed youths and land owners of the area.Vikar Rasool said that all political leaders should come forward for this common cause so that justice can be prevailed on ground, seeks the support from all political leaders without their political will Vikar Rasool Wani further added that construction should maintain the eighty percent local adjustment ratio as per their signed agreement so that local people may not get chance to come on roads.He added that he is well wisher of National highway project and it’s want its early competition, but fulfillment of the aspirations and rights of affected people is his first agenda.Besides Vikar criticize the step motherly treatment of government towards Banihal he added that BJP PDP government has start ditching people the day first in all aspects.Meanwhile a protest was rally was also organized on national highway which starts from yatri sheds Makerkoot and ends at main bazar where local MLA Vikar thanked public for their wholehearted participation.Various among others president local villagers committe Shabir Ahmad Daing, prominent leaders Aijaz sohil,A R manhas,Naseer sohil,sarpanch Fayaz khanday, Ashraf lone,Ramzan bohru, Mujed ul Rehman and trade union leader Shafiq Ahmad katoch also spoke on the occasion.
