LCET organised seminar on Global Mega Trends

Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology, Katani kalan, Ludhiana organised a seminar on Global Mega Trends . Deepak Vohra , Indian diplomat, & Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs was key note speaker at the moment. Currently, Mr Vohra is Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau.While talking about Global Mega Trends, Mr Vohra told that India along with China and Russia is emerging as political, economic, social, technological and military power in Asia-Pacific region and in rest of the World. According to him Indian youth is out-competing and out-educating youth from other parts of the World. He discussed different phases through which India has emerged to become a self-reliant economically stable country. In second part he interacted with students and gave tips on how to appear for an interview. He advised students to follow ABCD rule i.e. improving their Attitude, Behaviour, Competence & Decorum. While speaking at the moment Chairman of the institute Vijay Gupta said that by 2050 India and China will account for half of global input. He also gave information on global economic growth, energy consumption, climate change and new innovations. According to him these megatrends will impact business, economy, society, cultures and personal lives.
