Congress flaunting Sajjan, Tytler to tease Sikhs; Let them campign in Punjab: Sukhbir Singh Badal

The Congress has once again shown its true colours by catapulting ‘guilty men of 1984’  to centre  stage as its vice president Rahul Gandhi is flanked by Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar on his right and left suggesting he himself endorses what they had done 32 years ago.In a hard hitting statement, Punjab deputy chief minister and president Shiromani Akali Dal Sukhbir Badal said that the anti- Sikhism is in  the DNA of the Congress especially Gandhi family. As the adage goes that leopard does not change spots, the Congress indeed regretted 1984 yet the Congress continues to adore and admire those who carried out carnage of Sikhs.“Otherwise what is the rationale of keeping Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar on his right-side?  Obviously, Congress still threatens the Sikhs through these goons who are  thriving under Congress patronage by circumventing the judicial process. If the Congress really felt grieved, it should have at least kept itself at arms’ length from such elements”, asserted Sukhbir.“If Rahul can’t keep these elements at distance, then he should bring Sajjan and Tytler to Punjab to campaign for his party. Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh would welcome the move as he has already given clean chit to Tytler”, quipped Sukhbr“ Rahul Gandhi had been projected as prime ministerial candidate of the Congress and what message he is trying to convey by keeping in company of such criminals”, he asked .

Badal said that it was shocking that Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh has already given clean chit to Jagdish Tytler though the courts are yet to pronounce their verdict.  Apparently,  Amarinder is trying to prove more loyal to Gandhi family by coming to the rescue of its blue eyed boys Tytler and Sajjan Kumar repeatedly.The SAD  chief felt that anti-Sikhism is not a mere streak but  an essential DNA characteristic of Gandhi family and its successive leadership from Nehru down to Rahul has denigrated and damaged the Sikhs. Sikhs were not only dubbed as “criminal tribes” soon after Independence during Nehru’s premiership and later Harmandir Sahib was attacked in mid -1950’s during Nehru’s premiership.  His daughter Indira Gandhi  bull dozed Akal Takht and desecrated sanctum sanctorum of Harmandir Sahib  while Rajiv Gandhi endorsed killing of Sikhs by invoking proverbial “ Jab bad ped girta ha” statement.And now, Rahul too is showing the same characteristics by flaunting the killers of Sikhs- Sajjan and Tytler as trophies which is bound to trigger hate and anger of worst order among the Sikhs and it’s a challenge for the community to keep its cool,he added.
