Lambasting Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal for ‘politicisation of the Police”, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that once again the SAD is exposed for its evil designs to defame honest party (AAP) as the key accused in sacrilege of Quran Sharif at Malerkotla, Vijay Kumar has revealed that he was pressurised by the Police to falsely implicate Delhi AAP MLA Naresh Yadav as his co-accused.As expected, Akalis has stooped new low by indulging into ‘cheap & disgusting politics’ and it is suspected that it were Akalis who indulged in sacrilege of Quran Sharif and then implicated Aam Aadmi Party leader in the false case, State Convener of AAP, Gurpreet Singh Waraich said.Making a scathing attack on Sukhbir Badal, who also holds the portfolio of Home Affairs, Waraich said that he (Sukhbir) owes an explanation to reveal the names of the police officials, who pressurised the accused Vijay Kumar to falsely implicate AAP MLA Naresh Yadav and why?.

Earlier also Sukhbir Badal tried to mislead the people of Punjab by arresting two innocent Sikh youth (Siblings) on false charges of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Bargadi and later on Punjab Police had to withdraw the case against the innocent youth Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh, AAP Convener said.Even Sukhbir Badal has failed to crackdown the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib by nabbing the actual culprits and even tried to ‘cover up’ his failure by handing over the probe to CBI, which also proved a big failure to nab the culprits, Waraich said.It is pertinent to mention here that the key accused in the case related to sacrilege of Quran Sharif, Vijay Kumar today revealed truth and stated that he was pressurised by Punjab Police officials to name Delhi AAP MLA Naresh Yadav, as his key accused in the sacrilege of Quran Sharif.Kumar, who is currently on bail, has stated that it was due to pressure of Senior Police Officials, he named Naresh Yadav as his co-accused in the sacrilege of Quran Shariff at Malerkotla.
