Abdul Ghani Kohli visits GMC, meets firing and accident victims

Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry Abdul Ghani Kohli today visited the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu and enquired about the well being of those injured in cross border firing.He called upon the hospital authorities to ensure proper medicare and related facilities to the injured.Meanwhile, the Minister expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic road accident occurred at Mithiani in Rajouri.The Minister visited the seriously injured accident victims who have been shifted to GMC for treatment and enquired about their health.The mishap took place when a matador, carrying a marriage party turned turtle resulting into death of a lady named Surbi Devi D/o Darshan Lal leaving about 20 persons injured. The 13 critically injured were admitted in GMC while others are undergoing treatment in sub-division Hospital Sunderbani and Taryath Dispensary.He also expressed grief over death of two motor cyclists who met a tragic accident on their way from Kalakote to Agri today.The Minister expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
