Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura distributes cheques among fire victims

Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Tuesday distributed cheques worth Rs. 3 lakh among four fire victims whose houses were gutted in a recent fire incident in Chrari-e-Sharief Constituency. The amount has been released through Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for victims belonging to Hafru village of the Constituency. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the present coalition Government is committed to ensure equitable development of all the three regions of the State. He said several initiatives have been taken for the upliftment  and welfare of the people besides adequate funds have been released under various sectors. He also said that various Centrally Sponsored and State sector schemes including Beti Bachoo Beti Padhao have been launched in the State with an aim to improve the living standard of the people.Assistant Development Commissioner, Budgam and other Officers of Rural Development and Revenue Departments were also present on the occasion.
