DDC chairs District Health Society meeting

To review the financial and physical progress under various components of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz convened a meeting of District Health Society (DHS), Ramban here today.It was informed by CMO that under JSY, 2314 institutional deliveries have been registered while as 15227 pregnant women have been provided free diagnosis under JSSK in the district during the current year.  Besides, over two lakh patients have been examined in OPDs besides 64090 lab tests were conducted, so far.The major issues discussed  in the meeting included approval for purchase of furniture and equipments for DEIC DH Ramban, opening of bank account of JSY beneficiaries, water shortage at CHC Banihal and Batote, filling up of  vacancies of doctors and para medical staff.

The meeting was also informed that the Common Review Mission (CRM) team would visit the district for conducting extensive field tours followed by detailed state level debriefings culminating in a final report.DDC directed the concerned to properly follow the guidelines for achieving the targets within prescribed time. He also emphasized on the regularity and punctuality of staff in all health centres. The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, Dr. Jatinder Mehta Nodal Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anwar Bhat, XENs of PDD and PWD BMOs and various other members of District Health society.
