Punjab polls to be between people’s hard earned money versus Akalis’ ill-gotten money of drugs : Arvind Kejriwal

Appealing people to donate any small money, they want, to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to contest assembly polls in Punjab, as it would be contest between the People’s hard earned money versus Akalis’ ill-gotten money of drugs. “As corruption starts from political donations, as if you accept political donations from the corporate houses, you have to give it back in the form amending your policies to benefit such people”, Kejriwal said while addressing the media here today. “Donate whatever small money you want to donate to AAP, as your money would be useful to defeat the Corrupt regime of Akalis’ who are all set to spend their ill-gotten money from drugs, not only for their own party, but to the ‘friendly’ party of Congress too”, Kejriwal said adding that in Delhi AAP Government could have reduced the power tariff for the welfare of people in Delhi, because it did not accept the political donations from Tatas, Adanis and Ambanis. 

“How can you expect the schemes of social welfare from the political parties, which contest elections with the money donated by the corporate houses?, he quipped. “When we promised to provide free water to peopl and making the electricity bill half in Delhi, nobody believed on us, but we fulfilled it because we did not accept the political donations from the power supplying companies, which other parties used to accept”, Kejriwal revealed. “It is not merely an assembly election in Punjab, but a contest between Dharma aur Adharma, Sach aur Jooth to make new Punjab for the benefit for future generation of Punjab”, Kejriwal said. Delhi Chief Minister also met the already announced candidates of AAP and told them to visit people their constituency and apprised them about the vision and policies of the party.Earlier in the day Bhai Panthpreet Singh Khalsa of Gurmat Sewa Lehar met National Convener of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal to discuss current political situation of Punjab.  Panthpreet led the protest against the sacrilege incident at Bargadi village in which two Sikh youth killed in police firing. Former Jathedar of Dam Dama Sahib Takht, Giani Balwant Singh Nandgarh also had a marathon meeting with Delhi Chief Minister.
