Laughing at the reports in media that SAD’s Core Committee has given all rights to select candidates to party Chief Sukhbir Badal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann said it sound like that the party has given all rights to Sukhbir to sell party tickets to anybody. “Core Committee has virtually given all rights to Sukhbir Badal to sell party tickets to anybody to adjust remaining members of Badal family in the Akali Dal”, Mann said. It is nothing new in SAD, which operates like Badal & Son Private Limited Company, which could be evident from the Badal Cabinet, which has representation of Badal family, but an extended Badal family as well, Mann said. “It is obvious in Akali Dal that you will have to forfeit all your rights to Sukhbir Badal, as no other Akali leader is left with any guts to raise questions on Badals’ decision”, Mann said. SAD operated like “Badal & Son Private Limited Company”, where no other Akali including Dhindsa(s), Chandumajra(s), Tota(s) have any right to give their suggestion, leave apart their objection on any decision of Sukhbir Badal, Mann added. Who doesn’t know in Punjab that even the name of the President of supreme body of Sikhs, Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committew (SGPC) also comes out of the “Closed Envelope” sent by Sukhbir Badal in the General House meeting of the SGPC.
