AAP raises concern over the religious clash in village Mallan of Mukatsar

Showing concern over death of three persons in a bloody violence between the two groups over village’s gurudwara dispute in Mallan village in Mukatsar, Aam Aadmi Party condemned ruling SAD-BJP alliance for failing to maintain peace and prosperity in the state. In a press statement, AAP Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich criticized Badal government for patronizing drug, land and sand mafia in the state. He said that Badals have affected the religious harmony in the state and tried to use the religious sentiments of people for their political gains.Waraich said that the there is total lawlessness in Punjab and people are feeling unsafe in their own houses. Akali workers are indulged in every wrong happening in the state and government always tries to shield them.Waraich raised questions about the working of Punjab Police and criticized it for behaving like a puppet of SAD-BJP leaders. He said that the even after two months of time, Police have failed to arrest the driver of Orbit bus responsible for killing four members of family in road accident near Nakodar.       AAP leader also showed concern over the suicide of a woman farmer in village Mahabadhar near Mukatsar. He said that the anti-farmer policies of state government have forced the peasants to take the extreme steps. He promised to make farming a profitable occupation after the formation of AAP govt. in the state.
