Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Pawan Kotwal today took on spot review of arrangements for darbar move and directed  concerned functionaries to start renovation and restoration of services at move offices and  residential quarters.The Divisional Commissioner alongwith team of senior functionaries of police district administration PDD, PWD, PHE and Estates department inspected residential quarters at Company Bagh,   B.C Road, Tangewali Gali , Ahata Amar Singh and Sarwal.He took stock of power, water, sanitation and other services and directed the concerned departments to start repair and face lifting work immediately. He directed them to start whitewash, fumigation of all the buildings and removal of garbage dumps in the surrounding areas. He also directed for macadamisation of roads and lanes within the premises.Dr Kotwal also issued directions for upkeep of uninterrupted power lines, water lines and clearance of roads of unwanted roadblocks for smooth vehicular traffic during and after darbar move.

During his visit to Civil Secretariat, the Divisional Commissioner took stock of construction and face-lifting of work. He directed immediate installation of LED bulbs.The Divisional Commissioner inquired about water supply, electricity and security arrangements. It was informed that 70% work has been completed and rest of the work is in full swing.
