AAP condemns desecration incident of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Fazilka

Aam Aadmi Party on Monday condemned the incidents of desecration in village Hastkala of district Fazilka and village Chaturpura near Mandi Gobindgarh. Criticizing state government for failing to prevent such incidents, AAP Punjab Convener, Gurpreet Singh Waraich said that the government must owe the responsibility of hurting the religious sentiments of Punjabis.Waraich said that Badals have always used religion for their political gains and tried to get the sympathy of Public by shedding crocodile tears. Even after passing a year time, the Police are still unable to catch the culprits of Bargari case. The inability of Punjab government and Police has led to more incidents of desecration.Waraich said that after the formation of government in Punjab, AAP will ensure the safety of religious place in the state and the culprits of desecration will be sent behind the bars.
