Kavinder Gupta inaugurates free cardiac check up camp

Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today inaugurated a free heart diseases diagnostic camp at Aggarwal Sabha.

The camp was organized by the Fortis Hospital Ludhiana in collaboration with Pahal a social organization.MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta was the guest of honour on the occasion.A team of experts from Fortis Hospital Ludhiana under the leadership of Director- CTVS & Senior Intervention Cardiologist, Dr V K Sharma and senior consultant cardiology, Dr P S Sandhu were present in the camp. All the registered patients were diagnosed for basic heart investigations, and also sensitized about adopting healthy life style.While speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that people now a days are suffering from serious illnesses and timely   detection as well as preventive interventions can help in saving precious lives.Speaker also said that the problem of heart diseases in the country has reached epidemic proportions and therefore the initiative taken by Fortis Hospital Ludhiana and ‘Pahal Parivar’ is a step towards educating the people about the various preventive measures, thereby detecting and treating cardiac problems, at an early stage.

Among others who present on the occasion includes senior  leader, Munish Sharma, President Pahal Parivar, Vishwamitar, President Aggarwal Sabha Jammu, Dewan Chand and Chairman Pahal Organization, Deepak Aggarwal.Later, the Speaker inspected several ongoing developmental works in Gandhi Nagar constituency. He also inaugurated lanes and drains at Old Satwari, Shomali Mohalla and Gadi Garh.While interacting with the residents of the areas the Speaker was apprised about the problems being faced by them.Responding to the demands of the people, Kavinder Gupta assured them that genuine problems would be redressed soon on priority basis.Meanwhile, the Speaker also inaugurated Masterprep, an institute that prepares students for the courses of overseas education.Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that such institutes will definitely help the students of the state in shaping up their career.Among others who were present on the occasion includes MLC, Surinder Amberdar, Director of the institute, Mrs. Ravinderpal and President Rotary Club.
