Virbhadra Singh dedicates irrigational and drinking water projects worth Rs 23 crore at Kullu

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh who is on two day visit to Kullu on occasion of closing of world famous International Kullu Dussehra, today  inaugurated and laid foundation stones of drinking water and irrigation projects worth Rs. 23 crore. He inaugurated Lift Water Supply Scheme to partially covered habitation cluster villages of Mohal constructed at a cost of Rs. 86.26 lakh, augmentation of Water Supply Scheme Chharsu Brahmang, Kolibehar constructed with a cost of Rs. 81.64 lakh, Lift Irrigation Scheme Kharal from Beasi River with a cost of Rs. 8.21 crore.Chief Minister also laid foundation stone ceremony of Lift Water Supply Scheme Kalheli constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.66 crore benefiting a population of six thousand, laid foundation stone of augmentation of water supply scheme for  group of villages viz: Pichli Har, Hurang, Mandalgarh, Shirar, Benchi, Devgarh, Raison, Bandrol, Nallach, Jindour and Banogi to cost Rs 9.13 crore.Earlier, he addressed a public meeting at Khalehi during which the Chief Minister announced up-gradation of Government Primary School Khalehi to Government Middle School.Irrigation and Public Health Minister, Smt Vidya Stokes along-with Ayurveda Minister, Shri Karan Singh also accompanied the Chief Minister, besides General Secretary, HPCC, Shri Sunder Singh Thakur,  Chairman Zila Parishad, Kullu, Shri Harichand Sharma, DCC President, Shri Bhudi Singh Thakur, BCC President, Manali, Shri Bhuneshwar Gaud, Deputy Commissioner, Shri Yunus Khan were also present on the occasion amongst senior officers of the district.
