Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today blamed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Ashish Khaitan and Sanjay Singh of running away from appearing in the Court for day to day proceedings in the criminal defamation case filed against him. They are also making efforts to get the dates extended in this matter. Vowing to get Kejriwal and his gang arrested, Mr. Majithia said that he had full faith in God and the legal procedure which is going to punish AAP as they are out to deceive the people of the country.Majithia was talking to the media after appearing in the Defamation case in the court of Additional CJ Amritsar Ms. Ravi Inder Kaur. He said that AAP headed by Kejriwal should have been named as “PAAP” Party of goons indulged in wrongdoings and cheatings. He said that his men are misleading the people and the court by giving false statements. Mr. Majithia said that there was a difference between the people of Delhi and Punjab. 

The Punjabis with their wider outlook would never allow him to play the disruptive role in Punjab.  We have not forgotten the comparison of his manifesto with The Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji, said Mr. Majithia. He also said that because of this he is hiding and is unable to show his face in Punjab. Punjabis are known world over for their indomitable courage and they cannot be threatened in any way.Mr. Majithia said that instead of asking for personal exemption and submitting wrong statements of being “awfully busy”, they should have asked for day to day hearing so that the case is reached to some logical conclusion at the earliest. He recalled that how Sanjay Singh had earlier skipped the court proceedings in Ludhiana and one of his accomplices had exposed him completely by recording his statement against Sanjay Singh. Mr. Majithia said that it is ironical that they talk loudly in public outside court but try to push back the legal proceedings inside the court.

Pointing out the clandestine approach being adopted by Ashish Khaitan in seeking exemption of personal appearance, Mr. Majithia said that his secretly appearing in court and requesting for exemption of personal appearance for all of them shows how cleverly he wanted to postpone issues till elections. Mr. Majithia said that Kejriwal has touched the hornet nest in underestimating the strength of the Punjabis who in turn ruin him politically. Blaming him of playing with the emotions of the Punjabis, Mr. Majithia said that Kejriwal is constantly misleading the people but people are wise enough to understand his gimmicks and not to pay any attention to what he says.Referring to the recent survey got done on 2017 General Elections; Mr. Majithia said that it was auspicious for the Shiromani Akali Dal and he congratulate the Channel for carrying out this Survey because similar Survey was conducted in 2012 also on the basis of which Capt. Amarinder Singh had invited many of his guests from across the globe for his Coronation but the reins of power were rightfully given to Sardar Parkash Singh Badal.
