Abdul Haq pays surprise visit to tourist facilities at Sanasar

Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and Law & Justice, Abdul Haq today paid a surprise visit to several tourist facilities and other utilities at Sanasar in district Ramban.During the visit, the Minister inspected the JKTDC hut, R&B Dak bungalow, NT PHC, Panchayat Garh, newly constructed guest house besides other facilities in the area.The Minister expressed dismay over absence of employees at various spots and directed the officers to ensure that all the government units catering to tourist’s needs are well maintained and monitored at all levels. He said that it is the endeavor of present dispensation that the tourists feel comfortable at all the visiting spots of the state with provision of enhanced basic services. He asked the officers to ensure that the tourists don’t suffer due to any laxity on their part.During the visit, the Abdul Haq was informed that the water supply in the area is disrupted since last two weeks as a result of which the visitors are facing lot of inconvenience. He directed the concerned to look into the issue for an early redressal.The Minister, while being apprised of dilapidated condition of road from Patnitop to Sanasar, assured that the matter would be taken up with the concerned for redressal.Deputy Commissioner Ramban besides other senior officers accompanied the Minister.
