A farmer sows good quality of seeds, manure and labours hard expecting good yield of a crop but discovers that supply of salty water destroyed the crop.  Using this analogy, Her Holiness Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj said here today that indiscriminate tongue-wagging pollutes and poisons the atmosphere and harmony of the society.  Similarly, despite our having many virtues like love, humility, tolerance and humanity without sweetness of language we cannot enjoy ideal peaceful life.  We must avoid bitter and acrimonious tongue.   There is a dire need of taming our tongue which generally runs riot.  Control of tongue can save us from many crises.Satguru Mata ji said this while addressing a samagam organized by the Sant Nirankari Mission at Maulijagran Road, Manimajra in which about one lakh devotees gathered from the tricity - Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and the adjoining States of Punjab, Haryana Himachal Pradesh and Delhi to obtain her blessings. This was her first visit to the city after her proclamation as Spiritual Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission on 17th May, 2016.

Recalling the words of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj, Satguru Mata ji said that words spoken by a saintly person are comparable to a bag of sugar which gives out sugar from wherever it is cut.  Words spoken rashly or in anger are not relished by anyone whereas language of love is understood by everyone of the world.  A gentle tongue soothes our seeding tempers. She further said that as the leaves of a tree turn to the direction of the wind, likewise, we should always go with the flow of words spoken by Satguru from time to time.  Thereby we can ensure abiding happiness and harmony in life as soft and sweet tongue generally scores.Sh. Devinder Bhajni Ji expressed gratitude for the Satguru’s blessings on the behalf of the thousands of devotees who were elated with the Satguru’s presence and blessings.
