DC Kargil reviews Muharram Arrangements

Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer LAHDC, Kargil Haji Gulzar Hussain convened a meeting of officers here today to review the arrangements put in place for the conduct of Muharram congregations and mourning processions on 9th of Muharram and the day of Ashurah. Representatives of Islamia School and Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil, besides concerned officers were present on the occasion.During the meeting issues pertaining to the deployment of magistrates, establishment of control room, uninterrupted power and water supply, supply and distribution of ration, availability and deployment of doctors, paramedics and ambulances, medical facilities, traffic management, PAS system, sanitation of roads from where processions are going to be held during 9th Muharram and Ashura, security, traffic management besides other necessary arrangements were discussed threadbare.
