LC chairman chairs Rules Committee meeting

A meeting of Rules Committee was held here today under the chairmanship of Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali.Legislators, Dr. Bashir Ahmed Veeri, Mr. G. N. Monga, Rani Gargi Blowria, Mr. Saif-ud-Din Bhat, Mr. Ramesh Arora and Sofi Yousuf were present in the meeting.The Committee discussed amendments in Rule 15 regarding Quorum of Sitting of the Council, Rule 160 regarding Resolutions-Conditions of admissibility and Rule 174 regarding Calling Attention.The Chairman asked the members of Committee to submit their suggestions regarding the Amendment of Rules in its next meeting.Secretary, Legislative Council, Abdul Majeed Bhat and other senior officers of the Council Secretariat were present in the meeting.
