Ramesh Arora chairs DRSC meet

A meeting of Departmental Related Standing Committee (DRSC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council was held under the chairmanship of MLC Ramesh Arora here today.Legislators, Showkat Hussain Ganai, Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Firdous Ahmad Tak and Yasir Reshi were present at the meeting.Detailed discussions were held on the working of the Committee and it was decided that the committee will examine the functioning of Forest, Power Development, Agriculture Production, Social Welfare, Revenue and Rural Development Departments.The Chairman directed the officers of Council Secretariat to seek necessary information from Social Welfare department so that the same could be scrutinizing in its next meeting.Senior officers of the Council Secretariat also attended the meeting.
