JKEDI conduct Entrepreneurship awareness programme at Doda

Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Doda conducted an entrepreneurship awareness programme here, to create awareness regarding entrepreneurship ventures amongst the educated unemployed youth of the district.The main objective of the programme was to spread awareness among youth about various schemes being implemented by the institute for the promotion of entrepreneurship in the state especially in rural areas.MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar while speaking on the occasion deliberated upon various entrepreneurial opportunities in the district and assured the youth regarding government support in establishing business ventures.  

MLA urged upon JKEDI team to conduct similar programmes at block as well as Panchayat levels to rope in rural youth in the process of entrepreneurship so that they become job providers instead of job seekers.Speaking on the occasion DDC Doda Bhupinder Kumar encouraged the students to opt for domestic entrepreneurship programmes and motivated the unemployed youth to take up private enterprise, thereby keeping a check on rural to urban migration.Among others General Manager DIC , Shahida Parveen, Functional Manager  Amresh Kotwal, Senior Executive JK Bank Zonal Office Ashok Sen, Chief programme Officer JKEDI Dr. Majid Manzoor Khan and Manager IT JKEDI Gowhar Nazir was also present on the occasion.
