Cleanliness week starts in Bandipora

A special drive in connection with cleanliness week was inaugurated by District Development commissioner Bandipora today.The drive was started from DC office Bandipora to district Hospital Bandipora during which the roads were cleaned from polythene and garbage. Executive officer municipal council Bandipora and other Karmacharies of municipal council took part in the drive. The drive was aimed at sensitizing people about the importance of cleanliness and maintaining hygiene.On the occasion, the DC said that the drive will continue up to October 8, 20216 during which hospitals, education institutions and religious places would be covered in the district. Seeking people’s cooperation the DC hoped that the district will be made green and clean by the joint efforts of the administration and general public.
