Only PM Modi realized Gandhi’s ideology : Prabhat Jha

BJP national vice-president and Punjab affairs in-charge Prabhat Jha today said a majority of political leaders had exploited Mahatma Gandhi’s name but only Prime Minister Narendra Modi had materialized his ideology.Addressing the executive meet of the party’s Punjab unit on the occasion of birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, Jha stated that the nation will never forget Shastri who gave the slogan of Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan. Jha said it was Shastri under whose leadership India pushed Pakistan against the wall and won the battle in 1965.Also a Rajya Sabha MP, Jha used the executive as a platform to congratulate PM Modi and the Indian forces for conducting surgical strikes across the LoC and demolishing terrorist camps. “Prime Minister Modi is shouldering the responsibility of the security of 125 crore Indians and has been successful in doing so. India has never attacked any of its neighbours, but after the terror attack in Uri, the Modi government ensured that the sacrifice of our 18 martyrs doesn’t go waste”, said Jha.Jha stated that the BJP has dedicated this year to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, who spread the message of unity throughout the nation. Addressing the party cadres Jha said that social service had taken a back seat today, while politics had become a mere tool for securing petty gains. He said that Pt. Upadhyaya preached social service via politics. Jha urged party leaders and workers to follow in the footsteps of Upadhaya. He also advised party leaders to give priority to winning people’s hearts rather than hogging the media limelight so that they are remembered for eternity.
