Dashmesh Khalsa College , organized  workshop under the title  “ Mathematical Snacks ”. The Principal ,Dr Karambir Singh inaugurated the technical session of the workshop & addressed the students by accentuating on the significance of  the role of Mathematics &  technical Calculations in daily life .Dr.Vandana Garg ,Asst. Prof of Mathematics from Indo Global College,  was Key note speaker at the moment .She  delivered an extension lecture on the relevance of Mathematics in the Contemporary epoch. The Major emphasis of the workshop was to how to solve & simplify a mathematical puzzle in simplest manner by executing the shortcut method. Poster making competition was also held on the topic based on Mathematical Calculations. Topics like Is calculator a boon or bane?  Were discussed .Later Shortcuts mathematic calculations were deliberated in detail.Principal of the College Dr.karambir Singh while thanking Vandana Garg said that such workshops prove great help for students .
