On the occasion of the second anniversary of Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, more than 6,000 Devotees and Sewadal Members of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) assisted Municipal Corporation Chandigarh  from the tricity region-Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula  jointly conducted a Mass Cleanliness Drive, on October 2, 2016. Mayor Mr. Arun Sood and Municipal Commissioner B.Purushartha, IAS were also the source of inspiration for the devotees. They were very happy to see the strength of devotees. They were also source of inspiration for them.On this occasion, Secretary, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Sh. C.L. Gulati Ji and Smt. Joginder Kaur Ji, Member Incharge Branch Admn. in North India came specially from mission headquarters Delhi to become a part of the drive, for its successful accomplishment. They stated that the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh had requested for the assistance of 6,000 Devotees and Sewadal Members of Sant Nirankari Mission on the anniversary of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan to be held in Chandigarh. After a joint meeting, the Municipal Corporation decided 53 sites in the city under the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan for cleanliness on October 2, from 8 am to 11 am.In a statement on this occasion, Sh. C.L.Gulati, Secretary SNCF recalled the words of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji, “ Pollution both inside and outside is dangerous and Sant Nirankari Mission is taking care of both.” 

The mission has two arms namely Sant Nirankari Mandal spreading spiritual awakening globally and Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation formed in 2010 exclusively dealing with socio- charitable activities for general public utility. It concentrates in the areas of Heal(Health ) , Enrich(Education) and Empower( Upliftment) of the nearby. With its 1.5 Lacs volunteers SNCF provides instant help to the victims of natural calamities. To implement the message of the mission, “Life gets a meaning, if it is lived for others.” Mandal stated country wide Blood Donation Camp in 1986. It organises 500 camps every year in India and is known as leading organisation in the voluntary blood donation movement both in quality and quantity. In 2003, the Mission started Tree Plantation and Cleanliness drives on the occasion of birthday of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji. Ministry of Urban and Housing have declared the mission as Brand Ambassador of Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. The Foundation undertook the cleanliness of 46 major Railway Stations of the country once a month for one year has been widely appreciated by the Railways, the commuters  and the public at large.This has awarded   Mahatma Gandhi Sewa Award in 2013 and Queen’s Medal in U.K. for the distinguish socio- charitable activities of the mission in 2015.This drive was conducted under the overall supervision of Zonal Incharge Dr. B. S. Cheema and Khetriya Sanchalak Shri Atam Parkash.  Dr. Cheema stated that this drive got success with the assistance of Sanyojak Shri Mohinder Singh, all area Mukhi, Sewadal Adhikaries and devotees.
