Vigilance Nabs Forest Guard In Graft Case

Vigilance Bureau nabbed a Forest Guard of Forests and Wildlife Protection Department red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 6000.Disclosing this official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Forest Guard Dhanwinder Singh was nabbed on the complaint of Constable Karaj Singh S/o Late Shingara Singh.  In his complaint Constable Karaj Singh who is posted at Vigilance Bureau office, Patiala informed that he and his friend Naresh Kumar who is also police personnel have applied for getting the arms license before Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur. The O/o Deputy Commissioner further forwarded their case to Forest Office, Sangrur for getting NOC and then to the Head Office of Forest Department at Mohali. The complainant alleged that Dhanwinder Singh, Forest Guard who was the dealing hand demanded bribe of Rs. 3000 each from both the applicants.On the tip off provided by the complainant a trap was laid and the Forest Guard Dhanwinder Singh was nabbed red handed while accepting the bribe of Rs. 6000 from the complainants.
