DC Srinagar convenes meeting

Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar convened a meeting to review the arrangements for Youm-e-Shahadath Hazrat Umar-e-Farooq (RA) at Asaar-e-Sharief Hazratbal, Asaar-e-Sharief Jenab Sahib Soura to be observed on September 30 and Urs of Jenab Mirza Akmal-ud-Din Khan Badakshahi Sahib (RA), Hawal Srinagar being observed from 1 October 2016 to 3 October 2016.Senior officers of Police, PHE, PDD, Health, SMC, Traffic, JKSRTC were present at the meeting.Deputy Commissioner directed all the departments to ensure uninterrupted Power/Water supply, proper sanitation, Medicare, regulation of traffic during these days at all the shrines so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. The police Department will also ensure adequate security arrangements during Urs days.
