Vyas reviews stock, supply position of Ladakh region

Financial Commissioner, Planning Development, Ladakh Affairs and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. B. B. Vyas today chaired a meeting of officers to review the stock and supply position of essential supplies for Ladakh region.  The meeting was attended by Secretary, Ladakh Affairs, Tsering Muroop, Senior Officers of FCS&CA, PWD, Cooperative and officers of line Departments.Mr. Vyas stressed for ensuring adequate stock of essential commodities including Sugar, Atta, Kerosene oil and Petroleum products within three weeks in the region. He directed the PWD authorities to ensure adequate supply of construction material for carrying out developmental activities in the region. He also directed the concerned authorities to work in close coordination to achieve the targets of stock positions in view of ensuing winter season. 

Threadbare discussion was held on stock and supply position of Food grains, Petroleum products, besides dispatch of other essential commodities and Key construction materials for Ladakh region for the current financial year, which is disconnected due to heavy snowfall for more than six months from rest of the country.The concerned authorities gave brief account of targets and achievements  made with regard to stock and supply position of essentials and key construction materials for Kargil and Leh districts for the year 2016-17.
