Kissan Board organizes Awareness camp

Jammu and Kashmir State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans in collaboration with Agriculture Department organised one day Awareness Camp-cum-Kisan Mela here today.The camp organized by District Pooch Information Communication and Education (ICE). Daljit Singh Chib,   Vice Chairman (Minister of State) Kisan Board presided over the function , while  Jehangir Hussain Mir,   Deputy Chairman J&K State Legislative Council was the Guest of Honour.The officers of Agriculture and allied departments   impressed upon the farming community to use new and innovative agriculture techniques to increase their output. They advised the farmers to use hybrid seeds to get maximum production.In his inaugural speech, Vice Chairman threw light on the functions of Kisan Board and stated it has come into being for the welfare of common farmers of the state and assured them of every help.Prominent among others present included Pardeep Sharma Local leader and S.S. Lakhanpuria, Chief Agriculture Officer.
