Senior Congress leader and former union minister Manish Tewari has said that while the Aam Aadmi Party was imploding in Punjab, it was vanishing from Delhi.“Anyone wanting to have any idea about how they behave and how they govern should better spend a few days in the national capital”, Tewari said here late last evening while talking to the reporters along the sidelines of a function organised by the people from Purvanchal area. The National Spokesperson of the AICC said, while the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was undergoing medical treatment, his team of ministers had deserted Delhi.“This happened when they were needed the most in Delhi with dengue and chikungunya had spread panic there”, he pointed out, while adding, the AAP ministers including the Chief Minister Kejriwal and the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia were behaving as if they had lost all the interest in governance.

Tewari asserted that people of Punjab had now realised that Capt Amarinder Singh was the only and the best leader who could take Punjab out of this crisis whether social, economic or political. He said, the Akali-BJP alliance had set a record in failures.Asserting that the Congress was set to form the next government, he said, the overwhelming response the people of Punjab were giving to the party programmes was an indication of the things to come.At the same time, the former union information and broadcasting minister cautioned against any complacency. He warned the cadres against lowering their guard and asserted that they had to fight to the finish. He also appealed for unity among the workers and leaders, while maintaining that Congress was more united in Punjab today than ever before.
