BJP will celebrate PM Modi’s birthday as ‘Seva Diwas’ in Punajb : Vijay Sampla

Punjab BJP will be celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday tomorrow as Seva Divas in the state. This was stated by Union minister and Punjab BJP chief Vijay Sampla today. Sampla said that to mark PM’s birthday, the party would carry out social welfare activities throughout the state on September 17.Congratulating the Prime Minister on the eve of his 66th birthday Sampla wished him loads of health and prosperity.  Sampla said, “Party leaders and workers will help people in old age homes, hospitals and orphanages. We will be conducting blood, eye and organ donation camps, cleanliness drives and tree plantation drives. Needy girl children in the state will be provided necessary goods for under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme.  All the district party units have been directed to celebrate our honourable Prime Minister’s birthday as Seva Diwas by conducting social welfare activities”. 

Providing more information Punjab BJP secretary Vineet Joshi said, “On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday prayers and ardass would be offered in Sachkhand Shri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar, Durgyana temple, Ramteerath, Takht Shri Kesargarh Sahib, Takht Shri Damdama Sabib in Talwandi Sabo, Gurudwara Shri Fatehgarh Sahib, Shri Chamkaur Sahib, Shri Muktsar Sahib, Faridkot, Taran Tarn, Sultanpur Lodhi, Baba Bakala, Dukh Nivaran Sahib Patiala, Devi Talab Mandir Jalandhar, Charan Choh blessed Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Khuralgarh Sahib (Hoshiarpur) and Chakk Hakim (Phagwara)”.Joshi further said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has undertaken various social welfare schemes such as Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Swach Bharat Abhiyan and others related to water and environment conservation.  By doing so, the PM has made our country proud globally. By celebrating Seva Diwas on his birthday we will be doing our bit to help the society”.
