Filmmaker Hansal Mehta is more than happy that his movie "Aligarh" was shown on TV, even though some words were muted.Mehta, who has helmed films like "CityLights" and "Shahid" took to Twitter to show his excitement."The words were muted, yes. But the film wasn't. No point lamenting censorship because it exists. I'm glad 'Aligarh' was shown on TV," he tweeted.He is thankful for all the love pouting in after th film's TV premiere. "And I'm thankful for all the love pouring in after the television premiere of 'Aligarh'. Without a U/A certificate this would be impossible," he added."Aligarh" is a film based on the real life incident of Dr. Srinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation.The film features national-award winning actor Manoj Bajpayee, who essayed Siras, while actor Rajkumar Rao played a journalist.
