Aam Aadmi Party women wing Punjab on Saturday strongly condemned the false and baseless allegation of exploitation of women by the Punjab leaders and volunteers.In a press statement, Joint Secretary Women wing, Surinder Kaur said that some party leaders who joined the party to get tickets for vidhan sabha elections but failed to get nominations are now resorting to saying such shameful allegations on behalf of Akali-BJP parties.The leaders of the ruling combine were involved in Faridkot Case where a girl was kidnapped in the presence of her parents by the accused Nishaan Singh, who was well known to the Badal family. The horrendous killing of an inspector of Punjab Police at Amritsar, who tried to save his daughter from Akali Dal Youth leader, shows how Akali Dal treats the women.She also appealed to these leaders to stop maligning the brave Women of Punjab and raise their voice against the real issues of Punjab like unemployment, farmer's suicides, drugs menace and quality education to every child.
