Kavinder Gupta, Jugal take stock of people’s problems

Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta and Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma today visited Indra Nagar near Miran Sahib and took stock of the problems being confronted by the people of the area. MLA R.S. Pura, Gagan Bhagat also present on the occasion.The locals put forth various developmental needs of the area. They projected their demand for developing certain facilities at the cremation ground such as cremation shed, sitting arrangement ground, tile works, toilets and bathrooms and repairing of boundary wall.Responding to the demands, Speaker assured people that their demands will be met in phased manner. Speaker and Member Parliament also announced Rs 5 lakhs each from the MPLAD and CDF for development works at the cremation ground.While interacting with the youths of the area, Speaker assured that their demand for construction of a stadium in the area would also be looked into after identification of the land.
