Speaker Kavinder Gupta sees off JK’s Ace Fencer Vansh for Int’l event

Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Friday gave warm send off to Ace Fencer of Jammu and Kashmir, Vansh Mahajan for forthcoming ‘Thailand Open Fencing Championship’ being held from September 16  at Bangkok.Speaker said that Vansh has already represented the country in junior and cadet commonwealth Fencing Championship at Cape in South Africa in the last year and credited number of medals in his career.On the occasion, Mr. Gupta lauded Vansh for his hard work, determination and talent and hoped that he will bring laurels to the state as well as country also.On the occasion, the Speaker also announced Rs 1.50 lakh out of CDF to provide fencing sports kit to Vansh and assured him of every possible help in future also.The function was among others attended by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Rajan Sharma, patron J&K Amateur Fencing Association, coach, Chotu Lal and international fencer, Rashid Choudhary.
