Reacting to the outcome of All Parties Meeting held in Union Capital, Congress today accused Centre Govt of being insensitive to the current valley unrest. Although the Party welcomes the joint statement from All Party Parliamentary Delegation, but at the same time, the Party feels that Centre Govt should have announced many CBM in view of Eid Ul Azha, as that would be a positive signal from the Centre.Congress also asked the Centre Govt to decode stakeholders and explain with whom Centre intends to get engaged in the dialogue process.Lashing out at Centre Govt for not coming out with a strategy that would help restore peace immediately in Valley. JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has said that despite strenuous efforts put by the Opposition Parties together inorder to find solution to the problem and to put an end to the current turmoil also, nothing concrete from the Govt side has come out, although the Congress Party welcomes the joint statement of the All Party Delegation, but at the same time, Congress Party, feels that Centre should have announced many CBMs to restore the confidence and lost trust of the people.

Mentioning that in view of Eid Ul Azha many CBMs would be announced by the Centre, he said we had suggested many short term and long term CBMs to APD inorder to restore lost trust and confidence among the people, but nothing has happened, which is indicative of poor response by the Centre Govt to the Kashmir problem.Questioning the Centre over the issue of Stakeholders, PCC Chief asked the Centre Govt to decode the stakeholders and explain with whom it wants to get engaged to start dialogue process.It is unfortunate that Centre has no roadmap as yet about the Kashmir problem, even it has utterly failed to put serious efforts in place to ensure congenial atmosphere in the valley, which is seething in anger for last 61 days.
