Workshop on Aadhar seeding held at Udh

A meeting cum workshop on Aadhar seeding , Authentication services and Advance search facility was held  under the chairmanship of Deputy commissioner Udhampur, Niraj Kumar.Deputy director UIDAI Prem Thakur along with Mr. Anil Bhatia and his team reviewed the present status of Aadhar seeding in the district and also discussed different ways of expediting the process.Detailed discussion was also held on the status of identified schemes for Aadhar seeding in the district and Advance search facility for streamlining the process.While addressing the meeting, the DC said that it is very important to link the Aadhar number with the bank account of the beneficiaries of different schemes so that they can avail full benefit of the schemes. He further said that concerted efforts are required for achieving 100 % Aadhar seeding in the district and sought cooperation from all the departments in this regard.

 Deputy Director UIDAI asked the Education Department to organize at least two camps in a year for the Aadhar seeding of students( 5 to 18 years) of various schools.It was informed that 76.41 percent of the total population of the district have generated their Aadhar card.Reviewing the scheme wise status of Aadhar seeding, the Deputy Director asked the officers to organize special camps for the enrollment of the left out beneficiaries.While discussing the role of Lead District Manager, he asked to  ensure the dissemination of  the information regarding Aadhar seeding and also ensure coordination with other banks and OMCs for collection of Aadhar linking bank forms besides organizing IEC camps for aadhar linking to Bank Accounts..In the meeting, the participants were also made aware regarding the Advance search facility.ADDC Arvind Sharma, CPO Rakesh Jamwal, ACD Joginder Singh Rai, ACR Subhash Dogra, CMO Dr. Chander Prakash and other district and sectoral officers attended the workshop.
