Protests against 'callous approach' of State Administration

The Civil Secretariat employees today held a protest programme in the Lawns of Civil Secretariat against the callous approach of State Administration. This has lead the employees in confrontation with the Government. It was observed that the prevailing situation in the valley does not allow the employees to perform their duties in the present unrest.Chairman Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee Ghulam Rasool Mir along with President Lower Grade Employees Union while addressing the employees that it has been unanimously decided that no employee either from Jammu, Kashmir or Ladakh of the Civil Secretariat shall attend the office in view of prevailing situation and save their lives first.
