Pro-Kashmir rally held in London

A protest rally was held by Kashmiri expats in England in Central London at marble arch on 2nd September against the atrocities and torture being inflicted upon the people of Kashmir by the government forces, a statement said on Tuesday.The rally was joined by a number of locals including Kristine Backer the well known author, TV presenter and journalist with the Telegraph who extended their support to the protestors. The statement said.Pamphlets regarding the current agitation about Kashmir dispute were distributed among the passerby and others present at the venue.The protestors said that they want the international community and the British parliament to intervene and put pressure on India to stop “genocide of Kashmiris” and give them their right of self determination.
