The five members of the all party delegation Assas ud din Owaisi, Sitaram Yechuri, D Raja, Sharad Yadav and Jaiprakash tried to meet pro freedom leaders Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Yaseen Malik, Shabir Shah and Prof Ab Ghani Bhat but all the four out rightly refused to talk on the Kashmir issue and the ongoing unrest in Kashmir valley. Reports said that Owaisi dropped at Cheshma Shahi sub jail and called on Mirwaiz. However Mirwaiz thanked Owaisi for showing gestures to meet me but declined to talk on Kashmir and the continuing unrest in Valley.

Hurriyat (M) Spokesman Shahid-ul-Islam told KNS, that the two members of the delegation including Owaisi called on Mirwaiz at Cheshma Shahi Sub Jail but Mirwaiz while shaking hands with Owaisi told both the MPs that he can’t talk to them either on Kashmir issue or the present situation in Kashmir. The other four members of the delegation Yechuri, Raja, Yadav and Jaiprakash called Malik at Police Station Humhama but they were out rightly denied opportunity of even a simple interaction on the present unrest in Kashmir.

A spokesman of JKLF told KNS the Indian delegation was taken directly to the room in which Yasin Malik is kept by Police. He said Yasin Malik refused to meet and talk to the parliamentarians and told them that they being the part of larger delegation and are headed by Indian Home Minister who before coming to Kashmir has categorically said that India parliamentarian delegation will meet and talk to people under the preview of Indian constitution.Yasin Malik said that it I our stated policy that we will not talk to anyone under Indian constitution and because of this there is no fun in talking refusal this delegation left the police station within three or four minutes. “Malik told the delegation members that he won’t like discuss with them on Kashmir issues as the all party delegation headed by Rajnath Singh has no mandate to talk on Kashmir resolution outside Indian constitution. The delegation is interested in holding talks within the frame work of Indian Constitution and pro freedom leadership has already ruled out talks on Kashmir within Indian constitution”.

As soon as the delegation members reached Hyderpora residence of Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani they were virtually embarrassed to find the entry doors shut. The delegation members were greeted with pro freedom slogans by an angry crowd at Geelani’s residence and they returned dejected later the delegation members also called on another pro freedom leader Shabir Ahmad Shah who too denied to talk on Kashmir issue and conveyed his outright rejection to Delhi’s offer of dialogue within the Indian constitution. The delegation members met also Prof Ab Ghani Bhat at his residence and interacted with them for few minutes. When contacted Prof Bhat told KNS “I thanked the delegation member for visiting me but categorically ruled out the possibility of talking in isolation. I made it clear to them that pro freedom leaders will talk collectively and as such I can’t talk individually in isolation. I will abide by the collective decision of the joint resistance leadership”. (KNS)
