Soz’s formula needs a platform : Ghulam Ahmed Mir

State Congress President Ghulam Ahmed Mir Wednesday said that the Soz formula with regard to the resolution of Kashmir issue needs a platform and the resolution is possible only once Government of India shows its eagerness and commitment to resolve Kashmir issue once for all.Former J&K Congress chief Prof Saifudin Soz on Tuesday offered a political solution to the vexed Kashmir issue by advocating “merger” of former Pakistan Presiedent Pervez Musharraf’s four-point formula with the 1952 Delhi agreement.Reacting over the formula presented by Professor Saif-u-Din Soz, senior Congress leader Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that everyone is having it’s own formula with regard to Kashmir but those formulae would gain importance only when Government of India will make up its mind to resolve the Kashmir issue. “The formula rather suggestions put forth by Soz are encouraging and effective. The ball is in the Indian court and it is the New Delhi that has to look at all the formulae regarding Kashmir,” Mir said. (CNS)
