DC conducts surprise inspection of Revenue offices

Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda today conducted surprise inspection of Tehsildar Office Bari Brahmana, Niabat Bari Brahmana and  Patwar  Khanas  at  Tarore,  Birpur and Meen-Charkan.DC was accompanied by ADC Samba Pawan Sharma, SDM Vijaypur Ravinder Sharma and other revenue officials.DC inspected revenue record, PSGA registers, single window registers, fard registers etc. and directed officials to comply with the standing instructions issued by Revenue Department and directions given in the monthly meeting of revenue officers.Later, the DC also inspected Niabat Vijaypur and Patwar Khanas Vijaypur, Dagore and Gadwal. She directed the patwaris to ensure that their offices are in the respective patwari halqas and not in  Tehsils  and  Niabats.She also directed the concerned officials to ensure that their touring and office days are displayed for the convenience of general public. She further directed to ensure that each revenue office display's board highlighting services rendered by them under Public Service Guarantee Act.DC also interacted with public present in these offices and sought feedback from them regarding functioning of the department.
