Bhargav Public School celebrates hockey wizard Dhyan Chand’s 111th birth anniversary

On the 111th birthday anniversary of 'hockey wizard' Major Dhyan Chand, Bhargav Public School Gadigarh today remembered the legendary player for his contribution to the sport.A function was organized in the school premises, in which Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) senior leader Pt. Ashok khajuria was chief guest, while as Principal of the School Vikas Sharma and School Hockey Team coach S. Angad Singh was also present there.  Floral tributes were paid by students on the portrait of Dhyan Chand along with chief guest Ashok Sharma.Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Khajuria emphasized on the contribution of sports in the healthy life of everyone. Lauding the contribution of Major Dhyan Chand in hockey, Pt. Khajuria said that it was the hard work and dedication of Dhyan Chand for the sports, Dhayan Chand is regarded as greatest player of hockey, the world has seen till date.
