10 killed in south China bus accident

Ten people were killed when a bus overturned on a highway in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang region on Sunday.The bus driver was among those killed, police said.The accident occurred at around 10 a.m. in Nanning, capital of Guangxi, when the 47-seat bus was approaching its destination. Another 32 people were injured, five of whom were seriously wounded, according to police, Xinhua reported.The injured have been sent to two hospitals for treatment.The five seriously injured suffered brain and lumbar spine injuries, said a doctor at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University.An initial investigation showed that the accident might have been triggered by a sudden health condition on the part of the driver.
