Appeals him to send a team from centre immediately

Janata Dal (United) on Thursday met with Home Minister Rajnath Singh and apprised him about the extremely turbulent situation prevailing for last 46 days in the valley. The delegation of Jdu led by G M Shaheen met with Union Home Minister and told him that innocent people of Kashmir are being victimized by the pellet guns and are being pushed to provoke the situationHe said that Jdu is committed for democratic and secular setup. “Kashmir valley is on boil because of negligence by the state and by the central govt time by time, so the result is today’s scenario,” Shaheen said.Shaheen said that their vision is that centre must talk stock holders, students and trade unions, people from different religions.He said that there should be peace in Kashmir as its people has suffered a lot in last 48 days, “already so much blood has been shed. Many have got injured including local residents and armed forces, pellet guns are being used much due to which a lot of people including old, girls and boys have all got injured.”He demanded that state govt must take on board the local imams and senior citizens also.Shaheen demanded to HM that a team from centre should visit the valley immediately and reach the grass root level and feel the pain of general masses. “Kashmir is a sensitive place which has been victimized from past several years from the cross boarder terrorism,” he said.While pinning a hope that a team will reach the grass root level and feel the pain of general masses by the effort of centre and state govt, Shaheen said that there is a golden opportunity with BJP as the party is in majority and can solve the long-pending issue once for all.
