The Shiromani Akali dal urged the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal to come clean on the recent report of large scale embezzlement and misuse of public money spent on advertisements outside Delhi to fulfill its lust of grabbing power outside the national capital.In a statement released from the party office here today, the SAD Secretary and Spokesman and Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that recent CAG reports exposed a major scam of the Kejriwal government of misusing public money. Quoting reports being circulated in various forms of media Dr. Cheema said that it is highly questionable that out of the total  Rs. 526 crore  money spent on the advertisement, the Kejriwal government has failed to give account of more than Rs. 100 crore. He further said that not only this, in a specific case of advertisement the Kejriwal government spent 85 percent of the  Rs. 33.4 crore amount outside the Delhi jurisdiction. This clearly shows that the purpose of the Kejriwal led AAP is not the welfare of the people of the Delhi but to derive political mileage by spending the public money on false and misleading advertisments.

Dr. Cheema  said that the real corrupt face of the Aam Admi Party has been exposed by this CAG report. He said that the tall claims of honesty and transparency has been blown to winds. He said that the issue not only related to the misuse of public money but the other fact which the CAG has pointed out are far more serious. Quoting reports, Dr. Cheema said that CAG has very clearly stated in its report that the advertisements issued regarding the construction of bridges  as well as dispensaries were totally false and manipulated. This was probably the reason because of which these advertisements were not issued in Delhi newspapers.  Now it has become ample clear that neither the Aam Admi party is spending the public money of Delhi in an honest and transparent way, nor the party funds of the party are being used as per the norms.He said that the Punjab Convener Mr. Sucha Singh Chotepur has already gone on record to say that there is no treasurer of the party in the state of Punjab and there are no accounts of the funds being collected by the various leaders of the Aam Admi Party in Punjab.
