Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JLKF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Thursday said that by issuing invitations through twitter that too saying whoever wants to come is free to join; Indian leaders are making a mockery of dialogue process and institution. In a statement issued to KNS, Malik said that only talks between all concerned parties to the Jammu Kashmir issue can prove fruitful as dialogue between India and Pakistan, India and Kashmir and Pakistan and Kashmir have failed to yield any result so-far.JKLF chief who is languishing in central jail Srinagar from 8th July 2016 in his message sent from jail today while terming the invitation of Indian home minister for talks through twitter as ridiculous, said that dialogue and talks is the only institution all civilized humans rely upon for resolution of disputes and issues but the way Indian leadership is making a mockery of this august institution is highly regrettable and dangerous.

Malik said that talks are held between two parties on the basis of equality but here is Indian home minister acting like a visiting monarch, asking his subjects to reach to him and put forth their grievances and point of view.He said inviting for so-called talks through twitter and asking everyone who wishes to join to reach such and such address is like making a mockery of dialogue process and this trend is too dangerous and speaks volumes about the arrogance and of Indian leadership and their colonial mindset towards Kashmir and Kashmiris.Malik said that Jammu Kashmir issue is a living realty and its early resolution is not only desired by the suffering people of Jammu Kashmir but equally essential for the betterment of people of India and Pakistan and also vital for the peace and prosperity of whole south Asia.

He said that history is witness to the fact that dialogue between India and Pakistan, dialogue between India and Kashmir and dialogue between Pakistan and Kashmir has failed to deliver from last 70 years. “Bilateral dialogue process has been a futile exercise proved beyond any doubt that is why people of Jammu Kashmir want a dialogue that is held between all concerned parties to this dispute and it is our belief that only this kind of dialogue can resolve this issue and bring lasting peace and prosperity to whole south Asia,” he said.JKLF chairman said that Kashmiris have no history of violence or arrogance, they have always stood for peaceful means of resistance but it is the Indian occupational forces and their Kashmiri stooges who right from 1947 have always used their police and military might to suppress our peaceful resistance and deny us our birth right and even today this state sponsored violence is used to suppress the voices of Kashmiris. He said that today when whole of Kashmir including Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Baderwah, Doda ,Rambhan, Banihal and Kargil and others are asking for freedom but Indian leadership and their Kashmiri Stooges are still in a denial mood and are terming the voices of millions as the voice of some few miscreants.

Malik said that this callous attitude will yield them nothing but shame as truth and reality only survives in the battle of truth and false.Meanwhile, JKLF spokesman said that “police and Indian forces are continuing their nocturnal raids, crackdowns, spree of arrests and other oppressive measures against Kashmiris especially against young boys and students throughout Kashmir.”He said that police arrested JKLF district secretary Mushtaq Ahmad of Koreg Ganderbal and raided the residence of JKLF district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya).JKLF condemned this “police highhandedness”.It is worth to mention that besides JKLF chief, JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and Zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal are languishing in central jail Srinagar whereas block president of JKLF in Kakapora Pulwama Shabir Ahmad Ganaie is in Kuthwa jail under black law PSA.
