Stating that the visit by the Indian Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, to the Valley was meaningless to the pro-resistance people here, chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Thursday said that these visits were only deceptive tactics to make the International Community believe that government of India was concerned about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. We had made amply clear prior to this second visit by Singh that such visits are meaningless to us. These Indian authorities keep on visiting here to express fake concern and hoodwink the international community to believe that they care for the loss to the lives and properties of people of Jammu and Kashmir,” she said.She said that today’s press conference made it clear that the puppet CM, Mehbooba Mufti, has taken the people of Kashmir for granted. “Her statements that she made during the press conference expose the fact that she has bought the chair by selling off the lives, properties, prestige and land of the Kashmiri people to her BJP masters,” she added.
She said that Mehbooba has decided that she will stick to the chair not matter how many people die or no matter how much property is damaged. “ She (Mehbooba) doesn’t care about the wishes, dignity, prestige or the lives of lakhs of Kashmiris, all she wants is the chair of CM and she can go to any extent to save it,” she added.Andrabi said that but this shameless woman should understand that people of Kashmir hardly care for their lives and properties when it comes to pursuing of the resistance movement. “We are ready to sacrifice everything and anything for our religion and to protect our Muslim identity,” she said.“We are on roads against the illegal Indian occupation and with every passing day, more and more people will come out and will not rest until India leaves this occupied territory,” she added.
Responding to Rajnath Singh’s statement that “India can’t see its future without JK”, Andrabi said that instead people of Kashmir can’t even think of their future with India. “We have sacrificed lakhs of lives and will sacrifice everything to safeguard our religious identity and our dignity as we know that it is not safe with India,” she added.“ We have been witnessing since the past seven decades that India doesn’t value the lives and properties of people of JK and today’s press conference only consolidated this fact that they (India and its puppets) can exceed any limit of brutality only to keep this Valley illegally occupied,” she said.She said that Singh’s this visit was as futile as the last one as no one except India’s stooges met him. “Even traders also declined to meet him as they are with the people and the resistance movement. The traders, employees, hoteliers have suffered most but have not budged from the stand that JK is a disputed territory and they will continue to struggle unanimously with people against the Indian occupation,” she said.
She said that from the past 50 days every section of the society has proved to the World that no matter how much losses people suffer, they will continue this struggle until it reaches its logical conclusion. “For that we need to be steadfast and seek the Allah Almighty’s help by holding special prayers so that we are able to achieve what we have been demanding,” she said. She said that people need to expose the black sheep and opportunists in the society and need to be united against this aggression and brutalities being unleashed by the Indian authorities and its stooges. “Don’t be afraid of extended deployment of forces, it only clarifies how strong we are in our resolve that India has been forced to send more and more forces to stop us. But these things don’t deter us and we will continue our struggle until we are given the right to self-determine our future,” she added.She reiterated that Pakistan should also continue its support and should aggressively propagate the just Kashmir resistance movement via its foreign offices in the international forums.Andrabi further condemned the use of brute force by the CRPF and JKP in Pulwama on Wednesday in which Kashmiris lost yet another of their child and hundreds of others were injured.
