Senior Congress leaders Ashok Prashar Pappi, Rakesh Prashar, Bhairaj Singh join AAP

The Congress party had suffered a big jolt when   senior Congress leaders Ashok Prashar Pappi, Ludhiana South  Candidate in elections  in 2012 , Ex  Gen. Secy PPCC and now  member  PPCC  &  President Sankat Mochan Hanuma Mandir,  Rakesh Prashar, 3 times Councillor from  Ward 36 and  Sr. Deputy Opposition Leader from Congress Party in MC. Ludhiana and  Bhairaj Singh Ex-Councillor Ward no.2  along with 9 other senior functionaries parted ways with Congress and  joined Aam Aadmi  Party in the presence of MP bhagwant mann at a party rally at Jagraon last night. Others who joined AAP along with Mr. Pappi included   joined  AAP included   Amnish Prashar  vice-president Dcc,  Sachin Pathak  Gen sec -Dcc , Sumit Mehra  Sec-Dcc, Jaswinder pal Bunty  Sec-Dcc , Harjeet singh  Ward president -w.no.36, Rohit Wadhwa  Sec-Dcc , Rajiv Sharma  Ward president w.no.15,  Prince Johar   President ward no.63, Anil Kumar Pappi  President ward no.72 .With the joining of these leaders AAP got a big shot in arm in Ludhiana. Occasion an other prominent social personality  Taranjit Singh Nimana prominent Social  Activist, who runs NGO Providing Blood to Hundreds in patients in  need  also joined AAP.

Welcoming  Pappi Prashar and others into AAP, Bhagwant Mann   said that they will be given due respect  and responsibilities in the party and asked them to work in unison with the party volunteers to further strengthen the party base.  Mr. Pappi Prashar  said that  his views were fully matching with the programmes and policies of AAP under the leadership of  national convener Arvind Kejriwal.
